He’s in the Gentle breeze…

One of my favorite things to do is take a drive into the wide open space, The country roads look so beautiful during the daytime. You can see the gentle breeze swipe across the fields, Dandelions slowly losing their petals in the wind. I can feel God in the breeze. And the gentleness of His presence, He speaks.

You know if you cover your eyes, your ears will heighten and become sensitive to sound, hearing almost anything. We have 5 senses and when you block one the other heightens. I believe the Lord wants to speak too many, and we have become so accustomed to noise. We forgot what his voice even sounds like.

The voice of God, the voice of our Spouse, Pastors, friends, etc.If something goes wrong, who do you go to first? It’s so important to allow the Lord to speak in the gentle priest while you are going for a walk, bike ride, run or a car ride. I love to sit back, in my backyard in my hammock, close my eyes, and I’ll have to listen to the breeze. His Voice in the gentle breeze.

I Challenge you today, to sit back for a moment and listen…

1 Kings 19:10-13
11
“Go out and stand on the mountain,” the Lord replied. “I want you to be there when I pass by.”
All at once, a strong wind shook the mountain and shattered the rocks. But the Lord was not in the wind. Next, there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 Then there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. Finally, there was a gentle breeze,[a] 13 and when Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his coat. He went out and stood at the entrance to the cave.

A voice asked, “Elijah, why are you here?”

He’s in the Gentle breeze…
