Balance….
Lord, I could ask the question all the time. How do you balance it all? Ministry, school, motherhood, wife, church, entrepreneur, influencer, and so much more.
I honestly have a Calendar method, I literally post everything on my calendar. I use my phone, and I have a calendar in my home office as well as a to do list book. I love to cross out duties I have done for the day. I feel so accomplished when I do. Burnout comes when you feel like you have an accomplished anything, yet you are so busy. One of the best feelings, is to feel accomplished.
I am not a master of balancing, But I do know how to balance. I’ve had to learn my home must be balanced first in order for everything else to fall in line. You are one person, you have one life. Living it busy and unproductive is not it. Living it with PURPOSE! is everything. You should never be to busy. You need a day. You need time. You need self care and you will see how everything pulls together orderly.
Get yourself a notebook, Some like digital. For me, I like it in my hands I like to write. I like to draw a little boxes beside What I have to do for that day or week and when I accomplish it, I put a little checkmark in that box. It’s my favorite thing to do. Everyday I look at my Calendar the night before so that I know what I have to do the next day. In my Home, We have a shared family calendar, I have a work calendar for my husband, and I, I have a traveling calendar for those who need to know my travels and a private calendar. Each are highlighted a different color so I know which is which.
Balance takes practice, and I believe that you can do it! My life is live with a purpose, and I definitely live it on purpose!
