Have you ever sat back and just reminisced on all of the wonderful things you have lived through in life. It’s probably easier to remember all of the negative things you have lived through. Somehow, those memories seem to supersede the positive ones. All of the bad memories live in our subliminal conscious, and they resurface at probably the worst times.
One thing I love to do is, for every poor memory, I replaced it with a new memory. It is not that difficult to do, if there is a day in the month, that brings poor memories, then you replace that day with a beautiful memory. We will never really forget, And maybe we’re not meant to forget, if we were, then why would God give us memories? Since they live in our subliminal conscious, we might as well start replacing with some new memories.
God has crafted us in His beautiful majestic ways. God wants us to remember the moments that almost took us out, in order to get to the moment of salvation. May we never forget, why we came to the feet of Jesus. May we never forget, how we came to know the love of God. May we never forget, what He saved us from. May we never forget, why we worship Hin as hard as we do. God is so good and although we may have poor memories, He will always give us new ones to overshadow the old.
