Timing is everything. There will be times you will feel rushed or times you will feel, there is to much time on your hands. Whatever it is, God’s time is perfect.
Whatever the case, we have no control over time. The maker of heaven and Earth is the only time controller. We try so hard to manipulate time and it is unsuccessful. We try and rush moments, and end up losing out on time, we try so hard to take our time and the reality is time slips us by. Can you think of memories long gone now, you try to hold on to it but somehow it becomes so vague.
I recently gathered my children, and my husband was with me, We were watching old VHS videos of when they were just babies. My heart melted with each video, where has the time gone? What was I doing in where I felt my life whisked by? I remember sitting watching the videos with so many emotions rising. I want to enjoy the moment, I want to enjoy every second that passes, I want to laugh more, worship more, eat together more, travel more, etc… time is valuable and what you do with it matters.
Are you spending to much time in your thoughts? or perhaps things that are time thieves? Take some time and evaluate how you are spending your time.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
