We see all throughout scripture. Women are very powerful creatures. Women were either used for the downfall of men or the uplifting of a nation. I choose to be uplifting. I choose to be a pillar. I choose to be like Deborah or Esther, even Ruth! Women can be soft yet strong.
When you look at yourself what do you see? Here is what I love about Esther, the Book of Esther tells the story of a Jewish woman who becomes queen of Persia and saves her people from genocide. Esther is celebrated for her bravery, wisdom, and advocacy. Here is what I love about Deborah, Deborah, a prophetess and the only female judge of Israel, leads the nation to victory. She is celebrated for her leadership, wisdom, and courage. Lastly here’s what I love about Ruth, the Book of Ruth is another example of a strong, virtuous woman. It tells the story of Ruth’s loyalty to her mother-in-law, Naomi, and how she becomes an ancestor of King David and, ultimately, Jesus Christ.
What is important in all of these women is that you value the strength each one had. The leadership each one possessed, they were all brave in their own way. It’s so easy to grow weary, grow tired. Yet God calls us out and he wants us to rise above our obstacles. god used each woman I mentioned and many others! He will use you! The lord has crowned you. He has called you! It’s time. Know who you are and who God called you to be.
