Patience in Waiting

Patience is often a challenging virtue to practice, especially when we’re eagerly waiting for something. It could be waiting for a birthday, a special event, or an answer to a prayer. In these moments of waiting, the Bible teaches us the value of being patient and trusting in God’s timing.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.   Psalm 37:7 (NIV)

God’s timing is perfect, even though it may not always align with our expectations or desires. Being patient doesn’t just mean sitting idly; it’s about maintaining faith and a positive attitude while we wait. It’s a time to grow, to learn, and to trust that God is working behind the scenes for our good.
