Sit With Me Awhile…

The To sit with Jesus is one of my favorite things to do. There are times where I just don’t do it enough, and I realize the moments I do it, is one of the most fulfilling moments for me, these moments, I can laugh, cry, rejoice, and so much more.

I am being way more intentional in the season. I Think we get so busy. We tend to forget what’s really important. To me sitting with a nice cup of tea or mushroom coffee with my Bible in my lap, these are the moments that mean the most to me, I feel so close in these times. I can feel his whispers, I can even feel a warmness around me. There are moments where I can even feel and hear heavenly sounds.  I want more of this, in order to have more of this, I understand the assignment of relationship with the Lord. How can we say we worship a God that we don’t know?

Have you had time with Jesus? Or have you just spent time in your busyness? Perhaps tending to the children, perhaps idolizing what we shouldn’t, perhaps wasting time on things that are absolutely of no fulfillment to our own lives? I truly believe that Jesus wants more of our time, He knows you, but He wants you to know Him more. Try it. Take some time by yourself, Dim your lights, If you want to light up a small toxic free candle, you can for the fragrance, Take out your Bible, even a highlighter and a pen, let the Lord speak to you. You can even have some worship music playing in the background. I always like instrumentals, so that the words don’t cause any distraction.

In the society that we live in, I pray that you are able to tune in to what really matters and that is Jesus.
