Writing today’s blog, I normally prepare way in advance. Today was more spontaneous. In my time of solicitude, I speak with the Lord. Sometimes I hear Him, and There are moments where I don’t. I know He is still there, even when silent. I know when He is silent, it is for a reason.
There are a moments when the Lord wants us to awaken, Some of us are spiritually dead. We are like the dead bones that lie in the valley. We allow people to steal our joy, creativity, desires, and so much more. We have given the enemy access to places in us, In where the doors that should have been closed, now are wide open. He saw the valley of dry bones and because of this, he managed to sneak his way in, and make a home.
How much longer? How much longer will you allow the enemy to have his way? Why would you not want to chase what brings you life? How has death become so attractive? Satan is Conniving, John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
It’s time to awaken those dry bones. Pretending, putting a mask on, smiling when you really want to cry. Those days are over. It is so cliché for someone to ask how you are doing, and your response is always. Everything is great. It’s time to get real. It’s time to find your community of people. God gives us mentors, leaders, friends and family. Some of us struggle with a heavy level of pride and call it God. God is not in that, hence why Satan was kicked out of heaven.
Death cannot have its way with you. Remember what God told the woman at the well? John 4:10 “Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” God gives us His living water, His word sustains us and quenches our thirst. Why not go back to the place where you can feel him again? Hear Him again? See Him again?
If the Lord is quiet right now, do not be frightened because he is still very near. Take time in His word, worship, because this will allow you to get into His presence. Start a fast, fasting draws you closer. It’s time to AWAKEN, your spirit, your soul and body! The valley of dry bones, is a thing of the past. Come out! Because you are ALIVE in Him!
