There will be some who will look at the fire, and be intimidated, knowing the flames will burn. Perhaps the flames will cause some scarring, bleeding, pain, etc… I have found that warriors. Do not mind walking in the fire. When you know what’s coming, the refining is a beautiful process. Does anyone truly want to go through it? I believe not.
I truly don’t believe anyone wakes up one day and says “Today I would like to walk in the fire, Today, I want to be tried by fire and refined like gold. Isn’t that what scripture says?
1 Peter 1:7
"that the testing of your faith, which is much more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ". This verse is the most direct parallel, comparing faith to gold that is refined in a fire to prove its genuineness.
Don’t be afraid of what’s in front of you. You are fully clothed in the righteousness of God. When you have the Lord, walking with you, there is nothing you should fear. We will go through things in line, the understanding is the breakthrough is always there, we can’t stay in the place of pain. How many Warriors are fighting wounded. The battle will not last forever.
We often ask God to take us out of the flames, not realizing that sometimes the very flames we fear are the ones forming the strength we prayed for. Fire purifies gold. Heat strengthens steel. And the pressure you’re feeling? It’s shaping you for a level you haven’t walked in yet.
You are not who you were last year… last month… even last week.
Every flame you’ve walked through has shaped your voice, your calling, your authority, your compassion, and your power. The enemy doesn’t attack what isn’t a threat. If the fire increased, it’s because your assignment expanded.
This is not the time to retreat.
This is your time to rise.
