When God Calls You Out of Hiding

There comes a moment in every woman's life when God gently whispers, "Come out of hiding."

Not because He is angry.
Not because He is disappointed.
But because He created you for more than survival.

Many women spend years hiding behind their pain, their past mistakes, their insecurities, or the expectations of others. We learn to smile while carrying wounds no one sees. We learn to function while silently struggling. We convince ourselves that if we stay hidden, we cannot be hurt again.

Yet God never called us to hide.

In the Garden of Eden, after Adam and Eve sinned, they hid from God. But God came looking for them. He called out, "Where are you?" Not because He did not know their location, but because He wanted them to recognize where they were spiritually.

The same question echoes today.

Where are you?

Are you hiding behind fear?
Are you hiding behind busyness?
Are you hiding behind disappointment?
Are you hiding behind a version of yourself that no longer reflects who God is calling you to become?

The beautiful truth is that God specializes in calling women out of hiding.

He called Esther from obscurity to royalty.

He called Ruth from grief to purpose.

He called Mary from ordinary life to carry extraordinary promise.

And He is calling you.

The enemy wants you to believe that your past disqualifies you. God says your testimony qualifies you to help someone else find freedom.

The enemy wants you to believe your wounds define you. God says your identity is found in Him.

The enemy wants you to stay hidden in shame. God invites you to walk boldly in grace.

Coming out of hiding does not mean you have everything figured out. It simply means you trust God enough to take the next step. Faith is not the absence of fear; faith is moving forward despite it.

Perhaps today God is asking you to step out from behind what has been holding you back.

Maybe it's forgiving someone who hurt you.

Maybe it's releasing control.

Maybe it's finally believing that you are worthy of the love God freely gives.

Maybe it's embracing the woman He has always seen beneath the hurt.

Sis, the world does not need another perfect woman. It needs women who are surrendered to God, willing to be used by Him, and courageous enough to walk in their calling.

The woman God created you to be is not found in hiding.

She is found in His presence.

She is found in surrender.

She is found in obedience.

And she is waiting on the other side of your yes.

I feel like that sometimes. Thank you
For letting me know that God still loves me. Even when I hide
