When Your Heart Is Heavy…

When your heart is heavy, do you allow yourself to feel? When things seem to take a turn in life and the challenges rise do you fold? When the battle seems so heavy you can barely lift your head from the ground, do you yell out for ABBA (father)? We can think of so many circumstances in our lives in where we have been hurt. Where the battle felt to heavy to carry. Here we are now, another trial perhaps you are facing in this season, the walls seem to be caving in, what do you do?

Do you respond as you have in the past? Or do you allow yourself to heal and overcome the battle? Healing sounds way better than folding. Satan wants to kill, steal and destroy. Butttttt! Like Job, when you don’t allow yourself to die in the storm, something miraculous happens. A restoration takes place, suddenly grief leaves you, death backs away from you, anxiety flees, exhaustion breaks from you. The list goes on.

Job in the Bible was a man after Gods heart. He was stripped of it all. The miracle of this story is that Everything was restored and more was given. We don’t like loosing in this life, we want to live gaining, I mean who doesn’t want to live blessed. But, just because this season may not look like what you expected it doesn’t mean you won’t reap the blessing. Trust Jesus. Honor him with your life, give yourself to Him, if you are married serve Him together. If you are single serve Him with your all!

Situations may make you angry, upset, hurt, lost etc… but don’t let go. The mantle of grace is over you. Stay the course! Don’t turn away, draw closer. When we don’t understand the why, God does. The answer is coming.

Job 1:13-22; where he loses all his possessions, livestock, and children in a series of devastating events, yet maintains his faith in God despite his suffering
