The holidays have arrived, and for many of us it feels like the best time of year. For others may seem like the most grueling time of year. Whatever your stance is as of right now. I speak peace over you. Holidays can come with so many beautiful memories, and not so many beautiful memories. There’s a fine line of joyous moments and hurtful moments. Which can either make you smile, or make you frown.
If I can serve as an encourager to you, in this moment. Life passes us very quickly. In this moment you are reading this and you are very much aware, you are very much alive and I thank God for you, we may not know each other personally, maybe you follow me on social media, maybe you don’t. Whatever the case, I thank God for you. Thanksgiving is a time of sharing, laughter and maybe some tears. Every family is different. Whatever the case, I pray it is filled with joy, If I can challenge you this year, make new memories around the table, around the living room, or wherever your family is gathering. Laugh a little harder, Sing a little louder, and hug a little longer.
If you happen to be the one that is celebrating alone, I urge you to join with someone’s family or even volunteer your time at a local shelter, There is a gift in every moment. You are one of those gifts. You never know if your time and attention may just save someone’s holiday.
Ecclesiastes 3
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
